Episode #52 – Dead Money and Allan Guthrie

Booked reviews Ray Banks’novel Dead Money AND we got a chance to interview Blasted Heathen Allan Guthrie!

That’s right. We’re knocking down barriers, breaking conventions, and blazing new trails. A book review and an interview in the same episode! The episode kicks off with Liv and Robb talking about the recent Blasted Heath release Dead Money. Then, as if we knew it was coming, we segue perfectly (some would say seamlessly) into our interview with Blasted Heath’s co-founder Allan Guthrie. Allan Skyped us from Scotland to talk about the November launch of BH and their catalog of books, the future of print books, and the ins and outs of indie publishing.

It was a great time making this episode for you all. We learned a lot. We learned that ‘carked it’ isn’t a typo, page numbers are useless and that, of course, Anthony Neil Smith needs to do a little more self promotion on Twitter.

Grab the popcorn, it’s another plus-sized episode.
