Booked brings you its 2012 year in review! There’s a lot to review, so settle in bitches! We spend an hour plus covering all of the significant things we did in 2012. All of our biggest moments, our top and bottom lists of books for 2012, our funniest moments, some excellent statistics about our books and ratings, and a lot more stuff!
We also present to you the first annual Booked. News Year In Review. Skip Papersly reviews significant book stories from the year, some losses we suffered, a ton of James Patterson books that were released this year, and an overall 2012 best in fiction recap.
Finally, we throw some thanks out to our listeners, guests, interviewees, reviewees, and pretty much anybody we can think of. If we forgot you, we still love you. After the love fest, we look forward to 2013 and talk about some of the things you can expect to see then – including the release of our anthology!

Because QoD did not make your top five best books, or the worst five, I refuse to listen to this.
*shakes his fist at the computer screen before tearing his “I heart Booked” poster off the wall*
Don’t worry, Sound of Lonliness had a good shot at being in our worst five for 2013. But seriously, QoD is awesome and it should be on everyone’s top 5. I’m gonna lodge a complaint with these fools at Booked…
Oh, man. That fucking Patterson “Mercedes” line made me lose it. Hahaha, such humbleness.
Lovely!
How great is it seeing the “revival” of Matthew McBride’s lovely tome in a proper paperback? Great choice for #1.
It really is an excellent read. Deserves all the attention it can get.
Cheers for the love for ‘baker’s daughter’, lads. But you need to stop saying “it isn’t really all about poop” because the book really IS all about poop! Everything else was incidental.
Happy New Year
Thanks for all your support Pablo! And of course it’s not all about poop. There’s also the vomit and blood. Let’s not forget that. Happy new year!
